Student Leadership Team Covenant

As a member of the Church of God Student Leadership Team, I acknowledge my calling, gifts, responsibilities, and unique opportunity to express my faith in God.  I recognize my responsibility to provide the highest possible level of physical, emotional and spiritual care for myself in order to serve, love and lead others better. I know leadership is a servant experience so I will reach out with love, hope, compassion, and support to other students and my SLT teammates. I know I will have fears and imperfections but I will pray for Christ to give me strength, grace and mercy to do what God has called me to do with my life.

I agree to commit the following responsibilities:
●       I will lead by example in my words, actions, and attitude
o   Social Media must be a good reflection of Jesus
o   Other words, actions or attitudes must be seen as above reproach
●       I will live my life, to the best of my ability, according to what scripture teaches
●       I will be actively present at all meetings
o   Meetings will be bi-monthly beginning in January
o   There will be an overnight site visit in September or October
●       I will complete any tasks or responsibilities given to me
●       I will be in attendance during the entirety of KSYC22 regardless of other commitments
●       I will support the team and adult leaders in anyway I am able
●       I will have a peaceful and positive attitude with the team and adult leaders
●       I will be proud and supportive of Kentucky State Youth Convention

In signing below, I affirm that I will abide by the Student Leadership Team Covenant, meet the requirements and give priority to Kentucky State Youth Convention responsibilities. I realize that failure to do so may result in removal from the SLT.
